Nichols College provides a safe college setting, and we work to keep it that way. Even our mission statement reflects our commitment to providing a supportive environment for your student. From the time your student comes on campus for orientation to the day of graduation, your student’s safety is our top priority.

Public Safety Officers are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the year. We also provide the following on-campus security services . . .

  • Telephone call boxes at strategic locations on campus
  • Security escorts to any part of campus 24 hours/day
  • Visible security presence on campus
  • Strong working relationship with and an on-campus presence by the Dudley Police Department
  • Fire alarm drills in all residence halls twice annually
  • Emergency preparedness system
  • Restricted access to campus facilities via key code
  • Replacement of lost or Stolen ID cards
  • Issue alerts for any serious incidents when the safety of the community is threatened
