Residence Halls for Freshmen

First-year students at Nichols live in welcoming spaces designed to support their transition to college life. Shamie Hall is one of the residence halls for freshmen, featuring a common lounge, comfortable rooms and private bathrooms, along with a wiffle ball field, half basketball court and a patio for students to enjoy.

Each hall includes student dorm amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry and 24-hour card access for safety and convenience. Living in first-year housing options ensures that new students are never far from classes, dining, athletics venues or campus events.

Upperclass Housing Options

As students move through their academic journey, upperclass housing options provide more independence while maintaining close campus connections. Nichols offers apartment style living options like Copper Beach which offers full kitchens, private bedrooms, and common living spaces and suite-style living options like Remillard Hall and Kuppenheimer Hall, where students can enjoy private bedrooms, kitchenettes and common living spaces.
