Credit for Prior Learning

Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) is a tool to help you finish your degree faster. You can use CPL to have your college-level learning recognized by Nichols and officially counted toward your bachelor’s degree. Earn up to 45 credits for your professional work experience, including workplace training, military service, professional certifications, and volunteer activities.

In our CPL program, you’ll work with an advisor to build a portfolio that details all the valuable work you’ve done throughout your life and how it directly applies to specific college courses. CPL is a great way to apply your real-world learning to your degree path, making it faster, easier and more affordable to earn your bachelor’s degree.
