Nichols College named to Princeton Review’s “Best in the Northeast” list

DUDLEY, Mass. – Nichols College is one of the top colleges in the Northeast according to The Princeton Review. The education services company lists Nichols in the Best in the Northeast section of its "2022 Best Colleges: Region by Region" website feature that posted on August 31, 2021.

“It is terrific news that The Princeton Review recognizes Nichols College as one of the best colleges in the Northeast,” said Glenn M. Sulmasy, JD, LL.M, president of Nichols. “The combination of our world-class faculty, emphasis on experiential learning, data science and automation, and incredible return on investment makes Nichols an enviable business school and college. This recognition affirms that we are truly a college on the move!”

In its website profile on Nichols, The Princeton Review lauds the college for its focus on experiential learning, rigorous coursework, professional development, and student success. The campus community is described as the epitome of family.

The website feature salutes a total of 655 colleges that The Princeton Review recommends over five regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West, and International. The 223 colleges that made the "Best in the Northeast" list represent 11 Northeastern states.  The schools in each region are listed in alphabetical order by school name, and not ranked. Collectively, the colleges on The Princeton Review’s “regional best" lists for 2022 constitute about 24 percent of the nation's 2,700 four-year colleges.

"We chose Nichols College and the other outstanding institutions on this list primarily for their academics," said Robert Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review. The company considered data from its survey of administrators at several hundred colleges in each region, information from staff visits to schools over the years, the opinions of college counselors and advisors whose perspectives the company solicits, and the ratings of enrolled students on dozens of issues.
