DUDLEY, Mass. – Summer (and graduation) is right around the corner. Do you have your next job or internship lined up yet?

Students and community members are invited to attend the Nichols College Career and Internship Fair next Tuesday, Feb. 18. Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 85 organizations from many industries including athletics, law enforcement, finance and education. The Fair is 2 to 4 p.m. at the Chalmers Field House at the College’s Athletic Center.

“This year is our largest Career and Internship Fair yet, with a record-setting 85-plus organizations in attendance. The majority of employers are hiring for all majors which is great for all of our students, whether they focus on business or liberal arts,” said Abby DePasquale, Associate Director of the Nichols Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC).

Students will be able to meet with potential employers and educational institutions to discuss opportunities within their organizations, including several holding on-campus interviews after the event.

Attendees will also be able to meet with Nichols alumni at the event, DePasquale said, giving students an additional chance to connect with organizations.

“There are roughly 30 alumni who are coming back to the Hill to recruit their fellow Bison,” DePasquale said. “Some of these alumni started their current career paths at the Nichols College Career and Internship Fair.”

Participating organizations at the event include The Kraft Group, Mohegan Sun Casino Resort, GEICO, and the United States Secret Service.

Students are required to dress in professional attire and bring copies of resumes to give to organizations. Students who need assistance with professional attire can visit the Bison Boutique in Fels Student Center.
