Vice President of Innovation and Institutional Effectiveness; Assoc. Prof. of Acct. & Finance
Kerry is the Vice President of Innovation & Institutional Effectiveness for Nichols College. This role is an incubator for partnership programs and the competency-based education delivery of the BSBA in management. In addition, she serves on the full-time faculty as an Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance. Her research focus is on the relationship between the gender of CEO and short-termism or long-term decision making in S&P 1,500 companies. She is on the faculty advisory board of Maastricht School of Management in the Netherland. She spent over ten years in corporate accounting and finance positions, including ABB (ASEA Brown Boveri), a multibillion-dollar Swiss-Swedish multinational company headquartered in Switzerland specializing in robotics, power, heavy electrical equipment, and automation technology areas.
Classes taught include undergraduate accounting and finance courses, the capstone courses in both the MBA and MSA, critical thinking and research and policy for accountants, and several leadership courses.
