Dr. Jacobs arrived at Nichols College in the Fall of 2018 following many years in Colorado. As an instructor at the University of Northern Colorado and Metropolitan State University, Dr. Jacobs taught courses on Sport Law, Sport Venue Operations, Organizational Administration in Sport, Fitness Management, and Sport Coaching. She has also previously worked for USA Rugby, during which time her passions for Olympic Sport and international experiences were solidified.

Research Interests:
Her research focuses on the impact of organizational structures and behaviors on sport development. The practical outcome of such work is enhanced effectiveness in sport program development through improved marketing, policy-making, and administration.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her wife and dog. She’s always up for a new adventure!
