Student Success & Retention Office

Hours: , 8:30am–4:30pm

Mission: To recruit, to retain, to graduate.

Are you…

  • Facing personal issues that are affecting your progress as a student?
  • Struggling with time management skills?
  • Having academic trouble in any of your courses?
  • Can’t seem to balance your academic, social, and personal life?

We can help.

We know that the transition into college requires work-life balance, which can be overwhelming. The Student Success and Retention Office is committed to helping you get through challenges college life brings, no matter what they are, with on-campus tools, resources, and support systems that will help you earn the most from your Nichols experience.

We offer individual student meetings that will clarify your options to make sure your focus is your future. We'll help you feel connected and stay engaged in the Nichols community with opportunities to get involved outside the classroom.

What we do?

Student Success & Retention Council

The Student Retention Council is a team of committed students who take pride in helping their peers succeed in their academic, social, and professional careers. Nichols students are welcome to meet with any of the student retention council members for guidance, advice, or questions regarding their college experience.

"The Student Success & Retention Office at Nichols helped me use my experiences as a guide to connecting with other students. It showed me that they can add value to other people, no matter what those experiences may be. They helped me get what I needed to flourish as a young adult, get involved, and really embrace Nichols."
