Due to the high percentage of students in residence, it is the policy of Nichols College NOT to cancel classes in the undergraduate day college unless an extreme emergency exists. However, if weather conditions are sufficiently severe, the College may delay the start of classes until 9:30 a.m. and will run an abbreviated class schedule with 50-minute classes for the remainder of the school day.
Students, staff and faculty should log onto myNichols for schedule information or other details.
In the event that weather conditions may be sufficiently severe to warrant the use of the bad weather day schedule, log onto myNichols any time or use the College Snow Line after 6:30 a.m. extension 2452 or 508-213-2452.
Listen to local radio or television stations below for special bulletins between 6:30 - 8:00 a.m.
In the event that weather conditions warrant the cancellation of evening classes, the college will announce it by 3:00 p.m. Evening students are encouraged to listen to local radio or television stations above for special bulletins indicating that "Evening Classes are Cancelled" or that "The College is Closed."
Evening students can also use the College Snow Line, 508-213-2452, or check myNichols web site: myNichols.
