A new Devens campus will make it easier for Nichols students to earn their bachelor’s degrees in business administration this fall.
“Nichols will be offering selected 3rd and 4th year business courses at a new Devens campus located at One Jackson Place.” says Rayanne Drouin, director of enrollment and marketing for Graduate and Professional Studies. “Nichols adult learners who reside south and east of MWCC’s Gardner campus can take advantage of our new convenient location.”
Nichols invites interested business students to an informational reception on Monday, March 28th, 2011, from 3-7 p.m. at 27 Jackson Road, Devens, Mass. All are welcome to meet with a counselor from Nichols and/or register for fall courses. To schedule a one-on-one, please call 800-243-3844.
The “A to B & Beyond”® Program is a partnership between Nichols College and MWCC. Students who earn an associate’s degree in business at MWCC can enroll in the “A to B & Beyond” ® Program, complete a third year of business coursework at MWCC, and then transfer all 90 credits, equal to three years, to Nichols College to pursue a bachelor of science in business administration.
Program flexibility is a significant advantage to the student, as fourth-year coursework taught by Nichols professors can be completed on the Devens campus, on Nichols campus in Dudley, or through Nichols online program. Students must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher while enrolled in the Program.
In addition, the "A to B & Beyond"® Program is the perfect extension to MWCC’s business program as there are significant career benefits associated with being a Nichols graduate. One in ten Nichols alumni becomes a president, CEO, or business owner, and over 90 percent of the class of 2006 was employed within six months of graduation.
