William L. Boffi has been named Associate Dean for Student Success and Retention and will report to the Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean, Dr. Brian T. McCoy.
“I am thrilled that Bill has joined the Nichols community”, says Dr. McCoy. “This new student-focused position further demonstrates our steadfast commitment to student success.”
In collaboration with Academic Affairs and Students Services, Boffi will work to design, implement and facilitate a seamless model of integrated programs and services that support academic and personal success for all students. In addition, he will provide the College with hands-on data analysis on student engagement, learning, and satisfaction.
As the College’s lead administrator for retention efforts, Boffi views his contributions to the College concisely: “My objective is to build best practices to help the Nichols student thrive.”
Previous to joining Nichols, Boffi worked at Pine Manor College as the dean for student recruitment and retention. He received a B.A. in Mathematics from Providence College in 1989 and an M.B.A. from the University of Rhode Island in 1992.
Boffi lives in Cranston, Rhode Island, with his wife Monica and three children: Madeline, Benjamin, and Brett.
