Nichols College names Brothers, Darling, Hoey and Maymon to its Board of Advisors

DUDLEY, Mass. – Nichols College has named four new members to its Board of Advisors (BOA). The BOA is an engaged volunteer leadership body that lends its time, talent and resources to support the strategic initiatives of the College.
The new members are Lynn Brothers, Michael Darling, Patrick Hoey and Jared Maymon.

Lynn Brothers ’92 MBA ’98 of Webster, Mass.
Brothers has been with MAPFRE Insurance (formally The Commerce Insurance Company) for 32 years. She began her career right after graduating from Nichols. She held several roles within the claims department and now works in the legal department, where she is responsible for managing regulatory filings and collaborating with all areas of the company. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration (general business) in 1992 and an MBA in 1998 from Nichols.

Michael Darling ’99 of Southborough, Mass.
Currently a senior managing director for Walker & Dunlop in their Needham, Mass., office, Darling has closed over $13 billion in commercial real estate transactions throughout his career and possesses more than 25 years of industry experience. He specializes in the origination of market rate and affordable multifamily loans, with a primary emphasis on the Northeast region of the United States. He graduated from Nichols College in 1999, earning a bachelor’s in business administration (marketing).

Patrick Hoey ’15 of Paxton, Mass.
With 10 years of experience in the finance industry, Hoey is a financial advisor at Hoey Wealth Management, which he joined after building a successful early career with companies such as John Hancock and Jackson Financial. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration (marketing) from Nichols in 2015.

Jared Maymon ’21 of North Scituate, R.I.
As the global head of investor relations & strategic finance at Kornit Digital, Maymon guides the company’s strategic investment, long-term capital allocation and investor engagement initiatives. Based in Rhode Island, Jared’s work supports Kornit’s mission to digitize and localize apparel production, in turn bringing sustainable, on-demand production closer to consumers. He graduated from Nichols College in 2021, earning a bachelor’s in business administration (corporate finance & investments).
