At Nichols, many students take advantage of internship opportunities. You are placed in a supervised work-based learning situation with employers for planned learning activities. Internships give you a broad overview of occupational fields while providing opportunities to experience work responsibilities to develop work-readiness skills. Internships can be integrated with your regular school schedule or take place during a semester away from school or during the summer break.
Nichols College strongly believes in the cooperative learning experience where you apply the knowledge you have gained in the classroom to an internship position within your major or field of interest. This philosophy has prompted the College to develop an internship program that allows the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience with corporations and different industries.
Nichols College offers Academic Internships for college credit and General/ Experiential Internships that are not for credit; both of which can be paid or unpaid.
