The Robert C. Fischer Policy and Cultural Institute offers students the opportunity to extend their intellectual and cultural experience beyond the classroom. Through the Nichols College Cultural Enrichment Program, students will attend programs featuring prominent speakers who explore topics ranging from international affairs and politics to interpersonal relationships and cultural diversity. Students will also attend performing and fine arts events featuring renowned musicians, poets, artists, and dancers. To view the current semester's program calendar, click on Cultural Events.
Working closely with students, faculty, staff and its advisory board, the Fischer Institute strives to deliver programs that relate to coursework and that provide context to political, social, and cultural experiences students will encounter throughout their lives. Ultimately, the intent of the Cultural Enrichment Program is to enhance the learning environment, provide opportunities for students to examine and respond to historical and current affairs, and encourage exploration of diverse cultural activities they may not have considered otherwise.
