At Nichols, we deeply invest in the long-term success of our students and graduates. It’s what defines the value of a Nichols education. We don’t just teach you the skills of your field; we help jump-start your career. It’s a key part of our tradition of dynamic, career-focused education.

It’s why 4 out of every 10 Nichols alumni become a president, CEO, or business owner. It’s why 93% of our 2013 graduates were employed or in grad school within six months of leaving Nichols.

All Nichols students and alumni have access to our career coaches. With individualized advisement, current technology, and exclusive resources, they’ll work with you to:

  • Find the right major for you
  • Get face-to-face with corporate recruiters on campus
  • Research prospective employers
  • Learn to network and use social media
  • Become a strong, confident interviewee
  • Workshop your resumé
  • Research prospective employers
  • Search and apply for internships and jobs

Whatever the stage of your career, Nichols will prepare you to move forward and to lead.

Career and Internship Fair

Open to current students and alumni, the Nichols Career and Internship Fair provides employers the opportunity to meet great candidates for full-time and part-time employment, summer positions, and internship opportunities. This is one of the largest college career fairs in New England, with over 65 employers including Starbucks, Walt Disney Studios, Liberty Mutual, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and the FBI lining up to meet Nichols’ best and brightest.

Internship Program

Nichols strongly believes in cooperative learning experiences, in which students apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to an internship position. This philosophy has prompted us to develop an internship program that allows our students the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience. Students have recently interned with the New England Patriots, Warner Trade Publishing, and the U.S. Department of State.

Most internships are paid positions, and all provide key on-the-job experience. Our faculty supervisors ensure that each internship benefits the Nichols student first. We make sure each internship constitutes a positive step toward securing that first position after graduation.
