The Office of Community Standards at Nichols College supports the College’s mission by providing a consistent, fair, and educational process that promotes student learning, development, personal responsibility, integrity, and accountability. We are committed to an educational and developmental process that balances the interests of individual students and the College Community. To support its mission, The Office of Community Standards:
- Develops, provides, interprets, and enforces College policies and expectations for student behavior
- Provides a consistent, educational, developmental, and student-centered approach for resolving policy violations, while promoting positive decision making
Nichols College cares deeply about the safety and security of our entire campus community. The Office of Community Standards is here as a resource to help you through incidents of sexual misconduct, sexual assault, rape, and harassment.
Title IX protects students from incidents of sexual harassment and sexual violence, from discrimination based on sex, and from any activity that interferes with a student’s ability to equally access campus opportunities. Title IX covers all education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance.
