Worcester Restauranteur Mike Covino to Speak at Nichols College

DUDLEY – Michael Covino, president and CEO of Niche Hospitality Group—which operates Worcester restaurants Mezcal, The Fix, The Citizen, and Bocado—will speak at Nichols College at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the College’s library at 123 Center Road.

Covino will share his experiences and advice on how to start and grow a business. In addition to his role at Niche, Covino is co-owner of Peak Fitness in Worcester. Worcester Business Journal named him one of its 2016 Business Leaders of the Year.

This fall, Niche Hospitality is expected to open a new restaurant in Worcester’s Canal District, Nonna’s Pizza & Pasta.

Covino’s talk at Nichols College is part of the library’s “Mind Your Own Business” entrepreneur-focused speaker series, which launched in 2012.
