Liang Tang

Dr. Liang Tang is currently an Associate Professor of Finance and Accounting at Nichols College. Prior to joining Nichols, he held positions as Associate Professor of Finance (tenured) at MIC, Associate Professor of Finance at Bridgewater State University and Assistant Professor of Finance at Elizabethtown College. He has also served as a Senior Associate at State Street Corporation in Boston. Before that, he worked at Fleet Boston Financial Group (now Bank of America) as a Senior Quantitative and Analytics Consultant. Dr. Tang was also a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at UMass Boston and taught classes at Boston University, Suffolk University and Temple University. He moderated finance panels at Harvard and served as panelist. His research has been published in the Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of International Business Strategy and other journals. He has presented research papers in several international conferences and has been invited to give talks at the China Merchants Bank, the Renmin University of China, University of International Business and Economics, Central University of Finance and Economics, Hunan University and Xihua University. Dr. Tang holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Temple University. He has an MBA in International Finance and a BBA in Economics and International Trade from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
