Amanda White
Amanda White is our Director of Undergraduate Online Learners, Partnerships, and Competency-Based Education here at Nichols College. She has taught Experience Nichols and Business Communication graduate classes in the past as well. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from Saint Joseph’s University as well as a Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership from Nichols.
Amanda has experience in the nursing field as a Medical Surgical, Pediatric, and Emergency Room nurse, as well as leadership experience managing a 23-bed Medical Surgical and Pediatric department, and most recently managing a 9 bed Intensive Care Unit. Amanda has performed in the nursing supervisor role and has been part of and/or chaired numerous committees. Most notability her committee work on her self-started Palliative Care committee got her an invitation to speak at the State Capital for a televised event on National Health Care Decision day.
