Nichols Builds Business Leaders

The 2012 alumni survey results are  in. Of the alumni surveyed, 4 in 10 of our graduates have become a CEO, corporate president or business owner. As result of their experiences at Nichols, 96% of our alumni felt Nichols prepared them well for their careers. Why is Nichols so successful in producing leaders and owners?

Successful professors . . .

From the first time David Balducci (’00) walked into his first management class, he knew he wanted to own his own business. “The professor inspired me by talking about the successes of his businesses, how he approached them and the individual projects he was involved in. I knew it was what I wanted to do as well.”

Practical programs . . .

As a potential future business owner, you want to know how to get started, how to promote your business and manage the day-to-day responsibilities of owning a business. Through our practical business courses and group projects, you will learn how to manage the nuts and bolts of running a business. The support does not end when you graduate. Our professors often keep in touch and continue to mentor students after they graduate.

Real-world Experience . . .

With internships at locations such as the Patriots, Disney, Suffolk County DA’s Office, Mohegan Sun, Target and EMC, to name a few, students have the opportunity to experience business first-hand. Nichols students learn how to manage the challenges and opportunities of business, and ways to deal with it successfully.
