Nichols provides you with an education that will help you turn your natural talents and interests into skills that employers are seeking.
We do this by offering . . .
A variety of majors . . .
Nichols offers day students a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with 14 majors and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.
Experiential learning . . .
Whether it is class projects, field trips, or on-campus speakers, a Nichols education provides you with real-world experience to try out the skills you gain in the classroom. Many of our courses include projects that require you to make practical decisions about how to deal with situations in the business world. In addition, internships in organizations such as Madison Square Garden, the N.E. Patriots, the Suffolk County DA’s office, EMC, Mohegan Sun and many more provide you with exposure to the business environment and experience to list on your resume.
Access to current technology . . .
With technology changing so quickly, staying current can provide you with many advantages in the business world. Your classes will introduce you to new technology and concepts and discuss ways to incorporate them into the business experience. Our new student center will feature a state-of-the-art finance/technology seminar room with real-time market data on large screens, webcams, and student workstations.
Preparation for your future career . . .
Even before you graduate, Nichols prepares you for your career and job search. Our signature Professional Development Seminar (PDS) helps you identify your career interests and evaluate specific jobs within your field. As you move into your junior and senior years, you will develop a portfolio, and prepare for your job search and the interview process.
