The Center for Student Involvement

The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) works to engage, encourage and empower students to create a challenging, purposeful and transformational  experience.  We offer many opportunities outside the classroom to maximize your personal growth as you make good friends for life.

The CSI strives to maximize your personal growth and development by providing you with a variety of opportunities for involvement, service, and leadership in co-curricular activities.

Activities in clubs, student government, athletics, as well as a rich and varied cultural event calendar, creates a vibrant and purposeful college community where you can make a difference and develop meaningful relationships with others, learn about yourself and develop life skills.

Service to the college community through student activities is personally rewarding and provides opportunities to promote change on campus and explore new interests.

Residence Life: You’ll Find a Home Away from Home

Residence lifeWith 11 residential communities and great rooms, Nichols is a great place to call "home". Living on campus means being close to classes and fun. And "The Hill" provides a quaint, New England atmosphere that is still close to everything.

There are a number of housing options, from traditional to suite style to an apartment setting. Our two Copper Beech apartment-style buildings opened in 2008 & 2009, completing our "residential portfolio" on campus.  And we also have a variety of living & learning opportunities for students on campus.

Dining Services: Explore New Flavors and Experience Great Food

Students in Lombard Dining HallNichols College provides an exciting and innovative dining services program for the entire Nichols community. Dining on campus provides the social experience essential to campus life. It gives you the opportunity to gather with friends, take study breaks, hang out, relax and unwind after a hard day of classes and activities.

You’ll find great food, honest values, and a comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy it all. You have a variety of locations to choose from, all conveniently located within walking distance of on-campus housing, labs & classrooms.

The Bison Bucks program allows you to extend your spending power beyond the campus. With the addition of off-campus location, as well as on campus, Bison Bucks, an account on your student ID card included as part of your meal plan cost, broadens your access to local area merchants.
