Classes in the Nichols Graduate and Professional Studies Program (GPS) will launch during the first week of September on the campus of the College of the Holy Cross and at Hanover Insurance’s Learning Center just north of downtown Worcester.
“We’re trying to make our courses more accessible to business students who want a degree from Nichols,” notes Kevin Brassard, the school’s associate vice president for Graduate and Professional Studies.
Nine fall undergraduate courses—including Business and Society, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurial Management, and Consumer Marketing—will meet in the evenings at Holy Cross. “The College of the Holy Cross has a great reputation as an academic institution, and we’re thrilled that they’re allowing us to use their campus for evening courses,” Brassard says.
Nichols graduate students will find six courses—International Business, Marketing Research, and Financial Decision Making among them—at the Hanover Insurance Learning Center, which is located at 127 Beverly Road next to the corporation’s headquarters.
The courses at the new locations add to the undergraduate and graduate offerings available on the main Nichols campus in Dudley; online; and, for some undergraduate courses, at the Mount Wachusett Community College campus in Devens.
Last year, Nichols courses were offered at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, as well as at Auburn High School.
