It was a beautiful, blue-sky day as Nichols students, faculty and staff joined 10,000 walkers to support cancer research on Sunday, September 23rd.

At the start of the five-mile loop around Lake Quinsigamond, Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray and Mayor Konstantina B. Lukes addressed the crowd. At the finish, rock 'n' roll entertainer Chubby Checker gave participants a free concert.
