The annual Nichols College Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 in the Chalmers Field House from 1-4 p.m. Participation is free of charge and open to the public. This is a great opportunity to find a dream job. Bring your resume and dress for success!
"This is a culmination of a year-long effort to make sure our graduating students have an edge getting jobs," says Heather Maietta, Director of Career Services. Other activities include a October Career Week, an aggressive on and off campus recruiting schedule, a Student / Alumni Career Day, and ongoing internship and recruiting workshops.
Nichols requires that every student participate in a four-year, custom-designed Professional Development Seminar (PDS) program that teaches professional skills required for success in the workforce. To help students prepare for the fair, a fashion show will be held on Wednesday, February 27th in Nichols' Ingraham Room at 1:15-2 p.m. The show will emphasize the "dos" and "don'ts" of professional business dress.
