DUDLEY, Mass.—Nichols College—a college of choice for business and leadership education—has announced that it will begin offering courses in Marlborough, Mass., this fall semester. Nichols College at Marlborough courses will be held at the Massachusetts International Academy at 280 Locke Drive, off Interstate 495.
Adding classes in Marlborough—in the heart of the bustling MetroWest region and located near Interstates 495, 290, and 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike)—provides busy adults greater choice and flexibility in accessing Nichols College’s courses.
“We are see increasing interest in Nichols College programs from students who live in the MetroWest area, and having Nichols faculty teaching in Marlborough provides convenient access to the signature Nichols academic experience of a leadership-focused education,” said William Boffi, Nichols College’s vice president for enrollment. “Of course, students taking classes at Nichols College at Marlborough will still have the option to participate in courses face-to-face on our Dudley campus, or remotely via our HyFlex technology and online offerings from anywhere in the world.”
Kerry Calnan, executive director of Nichols College Graduate & Professional Studies, said: “Nichols College is dedicated to bringing an industry-leading business education into the community. We’re proud to offer a specially curated selection of affordable evening classes that will get students in the MetroWest region started, or to continue their path to a degree.”
This fall, Nichols College at Marlborough will offer graduate courses as well as a college course for high school students. Undergraduate adult evening courses will be added during the spring 2018 semester.
The news of Nichols College at Marlborough comes on the heels of the College’s launching of a graduate program in counterterrorism studies developed for those pursuing careers in the fields of intelligence, public policy, and security. The new Master of Science in Counterterrorism (MSC) will prepare students for a dynamic, rewarding career in the field of homeland security and provides students with the proper framework to distinguish between terrorism and violent extremism.
