At the September 2nd Convocation 2008 held on the lawn of the Guest House, Nichols College President Debra M. Townsley encouraged first-year students to "think outside the box" as she discussed leadership and academic opportunities which develop when engaging faculty and classmates.
Dr. Townsley also encouraged students to join clubs, student government and athletic teams and closed by emphasizing that Nichols faculty and staff care deeply about student success.

First-year students seemed to eat the Lombard Dining Hall food with gusto. After attending classes on an abbreviated schedule, they went to IT to get computers fixed or squared up tuition payments with the Business Office. Welcome to the Hill! |
