Students Awarded Academic and Spring Honors
Before family and friends, Nichols students were recognized in back-to-back Academic Honors and Spring Honors ceremonies in Daniels Auditorium on Sunday, April 27th.
Associate Dean of Business Dr. Libba Moore told students in her opening remarks that the world needs their leadership. She describe her "I-TOP" leadership model: Informed, Thoughtful, Optimistic, Productive, and urged them to adopt it. "Through your classes and studies, you are becoming Informed and Thoughtful," she stated. "As leaders, I hope you will also be Optimistic and Productive."
Moore concluded, "Use the I-TOP model to launch your leadership style and perspective. Continue to keep your self informed, remain thoughtful about world conditions, see if you can find the optimistic approach and, finally, be productive in dealing with the world's very difficult issues. It's not easy to stay on TOP, but you can do it!"
