Football Players Spread Thanksgiving Cheer

On November 16th, Shriner George S. Makara accompanied Nichols College football coaches and players on a visit to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Springfield, Mass., with the goal of spreading Thanksgiving cheer. Community service is an important commitment made by every Nichols' student-athlete.
Shriners Hospitals are at the forefront of medical treatment and research in orthopaedic, burn and spinal cord injury care. More than 800,000 young people are today able to lead better, fuller lives, thanks to the hospital and medical services provided.
