Teachers Hone Skills at Nichols

K-8 math teachers from Southbridge Public Schools and surrounding towns met on the Nichols College campus July 9th-13th for the 53rd Institute of the Leadership Program in Discrete Mathematics. Beth Chamberland, Southbridge's director of math curriculum (K-6), and Dr. Eileen F. Lee, assistant professor of mathematics at Framingham State College, organized and facilitated the program, which included daily workshops introducing new topics and discussing classroom activities in discrete mathematics.
