Alumni Services from Conant Library

 

Graduates of Nichols College are welcome to use the resources and services of the Library onsite during regular hours, including:

• the book and journal collection
• computers and laser printers
• a copy machine (pay as you go)
• a TV and VCR
• research assistance

 

In addition to the Internet and basic Microsoft software, the library computers offer access to numerous databases in a wide range of subject areas.

Database Access from Off-Campus

While on campus, Alumni may access any of our online databases from the links on the Library's homepage. Unfortunately, the Library's contracts with database vendors do not include remote access for alumni. However, a number of these databases are available to residents of many states through their local library. Many of these resources will vary from state to state. Check your local library web site or ask a reference librarian about local resources.

Massachusetts residents, for example, have access to a wide variety of databases through their local libraries. The Boston Public Library is also offering access a large collection of databases (free registration required).
