Overview of PC Plan Fall 2008 

Nichols College has partnered with Lenovo to provide a good quality computer system at an affordable price. Students will have the ability to choose from several different laptop and desktop configurations. The PC transaction is totally between Lenovo and the student. To begin browsing and/or purchasing, just click on the Lenovo icon to the right.  

Nichols Recommended Configuration

Should a student choose to bring a non-Nichols recommended Lenovo personal computer to Nichols College, the configurations are as follows:

Minimum Recommended Configuration
     Windows Vista
     Pentium Core Duo Processor
     2 GB RAM

Minimum Optional Configuration
     Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
     Pentium 4 Processor
     1 GB RAM

For Both Configurations Above (minimum recommendations)
     40 GB Hard Drive
     CDRW and/or DVD-ROM Drive
     Gigabit or 100-based Ethernet Card
     USB Memory Key

Microsoft Office 2007 Professional

If needed, the student may purchase a Nichols licensed copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Professional from the Nichols Bookstore at a significant discount from the standard store prices.
