Nichols College is affiliated with The Washington Center, a nationally recognized academic internship program located in the nation's capital.
This 15-credit, semester-long program combines practical experience in a student's area of concentration (marketing, history, accounting, economics, etc.) with academic coursework. Placements are made with executive branch agencies, the Congress of the Federal Government, local government, not-for-profit organizations and private corporations.
The Washington Semester is taken during the third or fourth year at Nichols. If a full semester does not fit a student's plans, summer session internship opportunities are also available.
Students interested in applying should contact the Director of the Robert C. Fischer Policy and Cultural Institute for further information. This program is competitive and acceptance is not guaranteed.
