I conduct the Mississippi State University Jazz Ensemble and have performed widely across the United States and Caribbean as a conductor, trumpet soloist, adjudicator, and clinician.

My publications include The Instrumentalist, the International Trumpet Guild Journal, Teaching Music, Faculty Dialogue, and Decision.

I live in Starkville with my wife, Karen and two sons, Michael and Andy.  I am an avid gardener and outdoorsman.
