Teaching Philosophy/Goals

My teaching philosophy is one that blends real world experience with theoretical knowledge. I have been teaching part time for Nichols College since 2003 and have worked full time in the financial service industry for the past 10 years. In that time I have served as a Financial Advisor, Sales Director and Director of Operations. This experience allows me to bring interesting case studies to each class and a current business knowledge that my student's value. I teach because I find it personally rewarding and professionally challenging and you may be surprised to hear, but I learn just as much from my students as I share and I look forward to each semester.

Interests

My personal interests are broad and varied. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to eat out and try new restaurants. I also love animals and devote much of my personal time to my spoiled Boxer named McKenzie. McKenzie is in charge and she knows it. We spend time watching movies and love to listen to music. If you happen to be around while I'm driving, I belt our every song at the top of my lungs.
