WebCT is the software application used at Nichols College to deliver our web-based courses. The software allows students to take a course in which all of the instruction is done via the Internet. Final exams are taken at a proctored exam site.
While at Nichols College, you are assigned one username and password to use across all of our applications; network access, email, wireless networking on campus, WebAdvisor and WebCT (On-Line Courses).
WebCT ID: first initial, middle initial (if you have one), last name
(ex: if your name is James A. Smith, your username will be
jasmith. If no middle initial exists, the username would be jsmith)
PASSWORD: Your initial password is as follows: #fmlMMDDYYYY
The password begins with a # symbol
"fml" stands for first/middle/last initial of your name
"MMDDYYYY" stands for your date of birth in month/day/year
format (ex: #jas06071954)
Your password can be changed at any time through the Nichols email system, and we encourage you to change it often. Please note: If you change your password through the Nichols email system, it will also change it in all systems noted above.
