WebAdvisor is an all-inclusive approach to student self-registration, payments, grades and personal information via the Internet. Access to WebAdvisor is available anywhere a student has an Internet connection.
While at Nichols College, you are assigned one username and password to use across all of our applications: network access, email, wireless networking on campus, WebAdvisor and WebCT (On-Line Courses). Your password can be changed at any time via the Nichols Email system, and we encourage you to change it often.
USER NAME: first initial, middle initial (if you have one), last name
(ex: if your name is James A. Smith, your username will be jasmith
If no middle initial exists, the username would be jsmith)
PASSWORD: Your initial password is as follows: #fmlMMDDYYYY
The password begins with the # symbol
"fml" is the first/middle/last initials of the person's name
"MMDDYYYY" is the date of birth in month/day/year format,
(example: #jas06071954)
WebAdvisor and Internet Explorer 7.0 on Windows Vista don't always work well together. If you are having difficulty with this, you need to make changes to you internet security settings. Go to IE7 Tools, Internet Options, Advanced Tab; check off the following options:
Enable Integrated Windows Authentication
Enable Native XMLHTTP support
Phishing Filter - Choose Turn on automatic website checking
Use SSL 3.0
Warn about certificate address mismatch*
Warn if POST submittal is redirected to a zone
