ONLINE COURSES
Students who are interested in taking online courses should first take the online course readiness survey at http://www.nichols.edu/eveningonline/online/survey.html. Students should also check the Nichols website for the computer system requirements needed to support the course management software used by Nichols College.
Online courses will be available for student access on the first day of the session.
CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT ONLINE COURSES
Continuous enrollment courses are self-paced and allow students to register at any time. The first Monday after the date you register will become your start date for that course. You will then have 15 weeks from your start date to complete the course requirements. The courses are all self-paced so you will be able to work through them as quickly as you would like or you can take up to 15 weeks to complete the requirements.
All online registrations must be made before 11:59pm on Sunday to start on that Monday. A registration recieved after close of business on Friday by fax, or mail will not be registered to start on that Monday, but a week later.
Please note: MGMT 485, GSB 600, GSB 602 and GSB 800 are offered in 7 week accelerated session online and are NOT continous enrollment. These courses are not self paced as they require students to work in teams.
ACCELERATED COURSES
An accelerated course consists of 7 class meetings for 3 hours and 15 minutes each; with a scheduled 15 minute break. Additionally, each course will have an online component which requires the student to have access to an internet connection. Delivered in a non-lecture, participatory style by experienced faculty/practitioners, learning is based on workplace situations and conditions that the students bring to class.
REFUND POLICY
Students who withdraw in writing prior to the last day for a refund deadline will receive a full refund of the course tuition. After the last day for a full refund deadline a student will receive no refund.
WITHDRAWAL FROM A COURSE
Course withdrawals must be submitted in writing to the Office of the Registrar. If a student does not formally withdraw in writing from a course, a grade of “F” will be assigned. Non-attendance does not constitute course withdrawal.
Students are permitted to withdraw from a course with a grade of “W” according to the schedule above (A “W” grade has no impact on the number of credit hours attempted or earned). Students exercising this option should consult with their academic advisor.
TUITION AND FEES
MBA courses $510.00 per credit ($1,530.00 for a 3 credit course)
