Military Tuition Assistance

 

Nichols College accepts Military Tuition Assistance Forms (TA's) as a form of payment for course registrations:

 

 

How to indicate that you are using a TA:

Paper Registration: Circle Military TA on the registration form and write in the amount of the TA. You will also be required to submit any applicable student portion of the course tuition with the registration.

Online Registration: Respond to the course registration confirmation email that you will receive indicating that a TA is the source of payment and the amount of the TA.  You will also be required to submit any applicable student portion of the course tuition with the registration. Please remember that your Nichols College email address is the email address that will be used for all email correspondence regarding online registrations.

 

 

When to Submit TA to Nichols College:

  • Please submit the TA with the registration form if at all possible.
  • The TA MUST be received no later than the course start date. If the TA is not received you may be dropped from the course for non-payment.
  • In most instances, it is the responsibility of the student to submit the TA to Nichols College. Most military departments DO NOT submit the TA to Nichols College on the behalf of the student. (GoArmyEd is an exception to this rule.)
  • TA's may be mailed, faxed, or emailed to Nichols College. Please refer to the Business Office page for specific contact information.

 

 

GI BILL:

  • GI Bill can not be used as a form of payment for a course registration.
  • You MUST pay up front for the course when using the GI BIll.
  • GI Bill reimburses you directly and does NOT submit payment to Nichols College.

 

 

GoArmyEd:

  • Students who are in the army and utilizing GoArmyEd are not required to submit registrations to Nichols College directly. You will register for your Nichols College courses on the GoArmyEd website.
  • GoArmyEd will submit your registrations to Nichols College.
  • GoArmyEd does not confirm TA eligibility until the course start date. Therefore your account and statements at Nichols College will show that you owe the tuition cost up until the course start date and the TA is approved.
  • You will still be required to submit any student portion of the tuition in a timely manner.
