You have enrolled in a continuous enrollment online course. The course is self-paced so you will be able to work through it as quickly as you would like or you can take up to 15 weeks to complete the requirements. The choice is YOURS! Our goal is to create an online experience which will allow you the maximum flexibility. Once you complete the course requirements your course grade will be posted to your transcript within one week.
Start Date: The date your course begins.
Note: Your course will not be available until your start date.
Last Refund Date: Last date to drop this course and receive a tuition refund. Use WebAdvisor to complete the process.
Last Withdrawal Date: Last day to withdraw without a grade penalty. Use WebAdvisor to complete the process. You will receive a grade of W.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: you must complete at least 50% of the course requirements, as defined on the course syllabus, by your withdrawal date otherwise you will be administratively withdrawn from the course and assigned the grade of "W". A tuition refund is not an option at this point in the semester. Policy applies only to courses with a CR section identifier.
End Date: the date your course ends and all assignments/exams must be completed.

You have been assigned a college email address. This is the email address the college will use to send you important correspondence. For example, the online program will use your Nichols email address to send you important communications during the semester. You must check your Nichols email account regularly! Also, any communication to an instructor or staff member must be via your Nichols email address as well. (Not to include your class correspondence as this is handled through WebCt). For security reasons the faculty and staff will only be able to provide you confidential information about your status at the college through your Nichols email address. This is for your protection!
If you have any problems accessing your Nichols email account please contact the IT department directly: Phone: (508) 213-2206 or E-Mail: itstaff@nichols.edu.
WebAdvisor (http://webadvisor.nichols.edu/) contains important student account information. You may register for courses, confirm financial information, view your program evaluation, retrieve an unofficial copy of your transcript and much more by logging into Web Advisor. You may also use WebAdvisor to make changes to your personal profile information such as address and phone number. Please note: Name changes need official documentation sent to the registrar's office.
There is a testing center available on the Dudley campus for those students living close by. To make an appointment with the testing center please use the following online appointment link: http://www.flashappointments.com/client/launch.cfm?busId=722
There is also a procedure for requesting a proctor for those that cannot conveniently get to the Dudley campus. For guidelines for finding an acceptable proctor Click Here.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must pass the proctored exam with a grade of 60% or higher, otherwise it will result in an automatic "F" in the course. There is a "one time repeat" policy for any student that fails the proctored exam in order to provide a second opportunity to pass the proctored exam. Should the student pass the retake of the proctored exam the new exam grade will replace the old exam grade and the course grade will be recalculated. Please see the course syllabus for further details.
