Getting Started in your Online course

Online Withdrawal Policy

The last day to withdraw from an online course without a grade penalty is 10 weeks after the Course Start Date.

Please use Drop Action in WebAdvisor to complete the process. Please note: If you are withdrawing from all registered courses in a given semester the request for withdrawal must be submitted in writing or via email to the registrar's office.

Withdrawal after the first 10 weeks will result in a grade of F, except under mitigating circumstances that must be documented and approved by the instructor and the Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies. You may only withdraw after the 10 week point if you are in good academic standing. Tuition will not be refunded for courses from which you withdraw.

To obtain a refund, students must have dropped the classes by the Sunday after the start date of the course.

Administrative Withdrawal from a Course

Please be aware that a refund is not available at this point in the semester. The requirements which must be completed by your withdrawal date, and your withdrawal date can be accessed in your online course gradebook.
