Register for Sections

Once you click the Register for Sections option the page below will display.

Using the Search and Register for Sections feature is the quickest way to process a registration.

  • Select the appropriate information from each of the drop down menus(term, subject, course level and location).  Selecting a location, either main campus or online, will narrow your search results.
  • Click Submit
    (Your search results will provide a listing of all available sections for the course)

  • Click the select box next to the course you would like to register for
  • Click Submit

  • Click the Action field and select Register . Please note: Do not make selection from the drop down action for ALL Pref. Sections.
  • A Registration Results page will be displayed confirming your registration was processed successfully.
  • A confirmation email will automatically be sent to your Nichols' email once you have successfully registered.

 

Register and Drop Sections

To Drop (withdraw from) a course that you have registered for click the Register and Drop Sections.  The Register and drop section screen will appear.  The bottom of the screen will look similiar to below.

  • Click the checkbox next to the course you would like to drop
  • Click Submit
    • Please note: If you are only registered for one course you will recieve the following message:

      You may not drop all your classes using this process. If your intention is to withdraw from the institution, then you must contact the Registrar's office.
    • If you receive this message contact the Registrar's office to drop the course.
