Admission Requirements

 

Using a rolling admissions procedure, Nichols College considers applicants for admission as soon as their application file is complete.

The College requires the following when considering applications:

Certificate, Associate degree, or Bachelor degree

  • Complete an Undergraduate application and state the program you are pursuing in order for the department to track your academic progress.
  • A one-time $25.00 non-refundable application fee is required with each application (note: the fee is waived if you choose to apply online)
  • One letter of recommendation.
  • An official high school transcript or GED is needed with each application.
  • Official college transcripts must be provided from each accredited college the student has attended.


Graduate Programs

  • A $25 non-refundable application fee (note: the fee is waived if you choose to apply online)
  • A personal statement
  • Official transcripts from accredited institutions covering all prior academic work at the Undergraduate** and Graduate levels
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • An updated resume
  • Interview (in person or by phone)


    **Students whose undergraduate cumulative GPA is between 2.0 and 2.499 will be admitted only on a provisional status. A grade of "B" or higher must be achieved in each of the first three MBA courses, or admission to the Program will be denied.


International Students

In addition to the items listed under "Graduate Programs" above, International students must also submit the items listed below:

  • International students applying for admission to a graduate program must supply all of the above, as well as the following: (English translation required of all documents)
  • An Official TOEFL score of 550 or higher
  • A completed Declaration of Finances with certification from your bank. If you are being sponsored by your government or an independent agency; we will require a letter to verify that
  • A tuition deposit of $4500 must be received prior to issuance of the I-20 form

    International students should take into consideration that graduate student housing is not provided, but generally, it is available in nearby housing communities on a rental basis. Each graduate student must make individual arrangements for housing and transportation.
