From river flooding to coastal erosion, from earthquakes to volcanoes and from water pollution to water overuse we are faced with environmental hazards.  You must select a local environmental hazard that can be assessed using the skills obtained in this course to evaluate the causes, extent, consequences  and likely solutions to your particular environmental issue.

You have two weeks to finish this one project

 Field Project
  1. Identify a likely project listing the importance and what you can physically observe to assess the issue.
  2. Email me your proposal.
  3. After project is approved begin observations.
  4. Search for and analyze for analagous situations and this very situation on the web.
  5. Submit your analysis of the causes, extent, importance, affects and potential solutions to the problem.
