Celtic Roots showcases the best in traditional and contemporary music of Ireland and Scotland (and sometimes England and North America as well). From the ‘early' music of Planxty, the Bothy Band, Altan, Tannahill Weavers, and the Chieftains to the ‘newer' sounds of Dougie Maclean, Kate Rusby, Old Blind Dogs, Solas, Lunasa, Grada, and Lau, listeners can expect a wide range of songs and tunes that soothe the soul and excite the heart. (Disclaimer: Celtic Roots is not responsible for music that stays in your head 24/7.)
