Note that there is current no wireless internet service provided in the residence halls; nor is it supported for personal wireless access points.
The first time personal computers in the residence halls are connected to the Nichols College network, they must go through an on-line registration process to insure that they are up to date on Microsoft Windows patches and antivirus updates. Please note that gaming consoles must go through a special registration process. Please see the link on the right side of this page for more information on this process.
A "resnet" (residential network) site is also available for students living on campus. You will find a variety of useful information on this site.
