On- Campus Recruiting (OCR)

The Nichols College Job Search and Recruiting Programs are available to all students and alumni. Our programs include resume referral and on-campus recruiting through our web-based recruiting system Road to Success, as well as services for off-campus job search assistance. Our staff is available to assist students, in every way necessary, to learn how to secure employment upon graduation and in the future. Whether it's through on campus interviews, postings to Road to Success, or career events, our goal is to connect our talented student population to employers.

Please click here to view the companies registered to come on campus this spring so far. Spring 2010 recruiting dates are February 8th through April 23, 2010, with the exception of Spring Break, March 15-19th.

Companies are added to the Recruiting Calendar continually throughout the year. Students interested in internship and job opportunities are encouraged to log on to Road to Success daily to view On-Campus Interview Schedules.

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Policies
In order to participate in the On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Program offered through the Nichols College Office of Career Services, all students and alumni must have acknowledment of and abide by the Student Recruiting Policies.  Should you have any questions please contact the Office of Career Sevices at careerservices@nichols.edu

Resume Referral
Our web-based recruiting system, Road to Success, contains positions from over 900 companies, ranging from small start-up firms to government agencies, non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 corporations. The organizations that work with us usually have internship opportunities for current students and entry level positions for graduating seniors. Students can upload their critiqued resumes to apply for positions posted on Road to Success. The company contacts will review the submitted resumes for interview selection at their location, or for On-Campus Recruiting at Nichols.

In addition to the companies represented in Road to Success, there are numerous other employers who will contact us during the year with various openings. These new job postings will also be posted to Road to Success and are available for students to apply.

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Program
Students who have an active, updated profile and resume uploaded to Road to Success are eligible to participate in the On-Campus Recruiting program.

When a company will be recruiting on campus, they will review the resumes of students that have been sent using the web based recruiting tool, Road to Success and choose who they wish to interview. The participating students need to log on to Road to Success daily and check their application status to see if they have been selected to interview. The selected students can then sign up on Road to Success for an interview time.

Information Sessions and Tables
Many companies will also arrange to have an information session or table on campus. These sessions are an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about the job for which they are applying, the company, its culture and the people who work there. It also affords representatives of the company a chance to meet interviewees in a more informal setting. Information Sessions and/or Tables typically begin in October and run throughout the academic year.

Companies are added to the Recruiting Calendar continually throughout the year. Students interested in internship and job opportunities are encouraged to log on to Road to Success daily.
