  • May only be used at the college bookstore which is operated by Barnes & Noble.
  • May only be used to purchase books and supplies. Food, clothing, etc. can not be purchased on a voucher.

Note: The book voucher system is not a system that allows student's to charge books to their student account and then pay for them at a later date. It only allows students to access the "extra" financial aid credit that is on the student account.

How Book Vouchers are Processed:

  • Student requests a voucher.
  • Business Office enters the voucher amount electronically onto the Student ID card.
  • Business Office places a charge on the student account for the amount of the voucher.
  • Student makes purchases at the bookstore.
  • Approximately 30 to 45 days after the beginning of the term and then periodically throughout the term, the vouchers are "closed out."
    • This means that the Business Office is electronically transferred the amount of total purchases made at the bookstore.
    • Any balance remaining on the voucher is credited to the student account.
    • Example: A student is issued a $500 book voucher and is charged $500 on the student account. The student then makes purchases totaling $300 at the bookstore. When the voucher is closed the $200 difference will be credited back to the student account.
