Nichols Academic Merit Scholarships are awarded to full-time incoming students based on their high school or prior college achievement. A combination of factors, including high school or transfer cumulative grade point average, are used to determine the amount awarded. The FAFSA is not required for consideration of merit scholarships.

Scholarships are renewable each year as long as students maintain satisfactory academic progress, maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and continue to be enrolled full-time. Awards are made for a full academic year; half will be paid to eligible students each semester (excluding summer).
