Teaching Philosophy / Goals

The goal of education is to encourage students to think broadly and rationally so that they will be able to use these skills throughout their lives in personal and career situations. A more specific goal relative to the areas in which I teach is to encourage students to understand the significant role that the accounting and finance disciplines play in all functional business areas.
